ich habe mal wieder ein kleines Problem bei meinem Linux Umstieg mit dem Toshiba Satellite A100.
Kannst Du mir sagen, wie Du den Card Reader installiert hast? Alle Geräte (USB-Stick, USB-Festplatte, ...) werden automatisch gemountet. Aber wenn ich eine SD-Karte in den internen Card Reader stecke passiert nichts. Kannst Du helfen?

Hallo,
der Cardreader wird gefunden jedoch als Unknow gekennzeichnet, öffne deine Terminal und geb folgendes ein:
Somit sollte dann eine Liste kommen, meine:
Dort findest du auch den Reader:
Mit der Nummer kannste ihn jetzt setzen:
Den Wert "07:06.2" an deinen anpassen
Jetzt eine Karte reinschieben und der Datei-Browser öffnete sich mit dem Inhalt der Karte.
Wichtig ist, Karte nicht einfach rausziehen, das führt dazu, dass du keine weiteren Karten mehr reinschieben kannst sondern neustarten müsste.....
Also bevor du Karte entfernst, Karte immer raushängen (Dateibrowser > Rechtklick "Speicherkarte" > Aushängen).
Diese Prozedur musst du jedes mal machen, außer du lässt den Reader am Start laden, dazu musst du einfach ein Shell script machen, der einfach den oberen Befehl ausführt....

Jetzt eine Karte reinschieben und der Datei-Browser öffnete sich mit dem Inhalt der Karte.
Wichtig ist, Karte nicht einfach rausziehen, das führt dazu, dass du keine weiteren Karten mehr reinschieben kannst sondern neustarten müsste.....

Danke erstmal für die schnelle Antwort. Leider funktioniert es so nicht. Hier meine Ausgabe von lspci:
Der Befehl sollte also identisch mit Deinem sein:
Ich erhalte keine Meldung, wenn ich dann die Speicherkarte einschiebe, passiert nichts. Ich habe auch unter /media gesucht, da ist nichts eingetragen. Was könnte das Problem sein?

er lautet:
Ja und hier mein Startscript:
DOWNLOAD
1. mmcpas anlegen (touch mmcpas) dann> vi mmcpas
2. 07:06.2 ggf. anpassen [z.B. mit VI]
3. chmod 755 mmcpas
4. cp mmcpas /etc/init.d/
5. chkconfig -a mmcpas
6. script ist im runlevel eingetragen SIEHE HIER
